Huize Molenaar is one of Utrecht’s best-kept culinary secrets. Since 1982, It has been the perfect place for events with a distinctive touch. In that year Jacob Molenaar left Friesland behind, to introduce Utrecht to his cooking skills. Many guests have enjoyed the culinary and wonderful atmosphere of Huize Molenaar ever since.<\/p>\n

The patrician residence is still largely furnished in the original style and radiates a tranquility reminiscent of days gone by. Each room has its own size, color and atmosphere. This makes the house suitable for a wide range of events. From the Pauluskamers, the meeting rooms on the top floor, to the cozy Balkonkamer for a romantic dinner.\u00a0 The Suite is the largest room in the house. Many bridal couples have already said their vows here and countless birthday lunches have been held.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

The sunny Tuinkamer is, in combination with our city garden, the perfect place for a drink or a festive reception.<\/p>\n

Our location is suitable for gatherings of 5 to 250 people. For over a century, we have been specialized in private dining, from wedding lunches to oration dinners. We also have beautiful rooms for boardroom meetings and strategy sessions. There are many options for intimate gatherings and events, and we would love to help you with the best possible setup!<\/p>\n

Huize Molenaar is located in the heart of Utrecht\u2019s historic city center, practically next to the Academy building and the Domtoren. The Springweg parking garage is a stone\u2019s throw away and Utrecht Central Station is only a short walk. Utrecht also offers more than 2.000 public parking spaces in several parking garages at walking distance. From the Domplein bus stop, it is merely 100 meters to our house.<\/p>\n
